Carleigh Nesbit's band, Chick Tragic & the
Roosters, will be playing Thursday night , July 2) at iS Venue here
in town. iS Venue is located in the old Starr Hill space at 709 W.
Main across the street from Wild Wings and the Amtrack Station. Also playing will be The Hill & Wood, and Jesse Harper was added to open doing an acoustic set with a couple of
friends! Advance tickets are $5 and you can pick those up at iS, or on their website.
Drama Teacher and Student in Oliver! - Middle School drama teacher Lydia Horan, her husband, Michael, a Tandem 9th grader and a former student continue this week in UVA's Heritage Theatre Festival production of the classic musical
Oliver!. Lydia plays Widow Corney, Michael plays Fagin, 9th grader Josh Tucker and Middle School grad Sonya Haden play orphans/urchins. The show opens June 25, with just eight performances between June 25 and July 3. Perry Medlin, who has choreographed shows at Tandem, is choreographer for the show.

Bus Survey - In these days of high fuel prices and awareness of energy conservation, we have been investigating the possibility of hiring the bus and drivers from the Triple C Camp to make the rounds in Charlottesville and Albemarle in the morning for a ride to Tandem. We would appreciate it greatly if as many families as possible would fill out a brief survey. Just click on the link below and follow the instructions to fill out the survey. Alumni Reunion - The class of 1999 will be hosting a 10-year reunion on Saturday, August 15 at 4:30 at Tandem Friends. Alums from all grades are invited - details to come!
