History
In 1971, Tandem Friends hired its first professional

served as the school's professional, dedicated, and
energetic librarian. Under her watchful eye, the library
became the central focus of the academic and cultural
life of the school. When Libby Cohen left Tandem in
1986, the library was officially renamed the Libby O.
Cohen Library.
