Latin Students Present Roman Inventions a la Shark Tank
7th grader Latin students created presentations on Roman innovations/inventions a la Shark Tank. Each pair worked together to create a presentation/spiel for a panel of 'judges' and show off their visual/3D mode. Innovations included aqueducts, roads, concrete, Julian calendars, the codex, acta durma, and Roman arches. At the end of all seven presentations, each judge distributed their amount of "gems" to the pairs/inventions they deemed most worthy. Volunteer faculty and staff members served as the judges for this fun and educational presentation. The winning innovation was aqueducts, earning 13000 jewels.
