Middle School Artists Selected for Summer Program

Congratulations to the Tandem Friends Middle School artists who were accepted into this summer's Reflections, a Summer Regional Governor's School Program. 8th grader Maggie W. (selected last year when the program was postponed but getting to attend this summer), 7th grader Sofia S., and 6th grader Cyrus C. (alternate). Reflections is a 10-day summer program that offers conceptual and visual art experiences to 40 Middle School students gifted in visual arts, selected competitively from public, private and home-school students in Charlottesville City, Albemarle, Greene, and Nelson Counties.
