Tandem Sophomore Part of Winning Adrenaline Project Team

Tandem freshman Murray Susen competed last weekend in the Adrenaline Film Project, an annual Light House Studio filmmaking event, and his team's film won the prestigious top Jury Selection Award (including a $500 prize). The Adrenaline event pits ten teams of three student filmmakers (high school, college or adult) against the clock and each other - they have 72 hours to write, direct and edit a short film. Each film must meet three designated criteria - a random assigned film genre, each film has to contain a random prop (a birdhouse this year), and each film has to include one required line of dialogue (this year's line - 'Believe me, it's true.').

Murray's team, consisting of Murray, Casey Lockledge, Jack Malin, and Gideon Elron (their adult mentor) created the winning film The Barn & The Birdhouse for the event. The film's acting talent included Lindsay Kendall Cox, Kassandra Fortuna, and Gideon Elron. Murray was the youngest participant in the whole Adrenaline process this year - the vast majority of the teams contained college students and young adults. Congratulations, Murray!
