Student Artist Creates Pencil Portraits

Check out these wonderful pencil on paper portraits done by Tandem Friends junior Talia S. Most of the portraits were finished in her independent study drawing class last semester with teacher Susan Brodie. Several portraits are of friends at Tandem, one is of musician Brandi Carlile and one is of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Talia submitted these portraits as part of her portfolio and application for the Summer Residential Governor’s School in the Visual Arts. The portraits are on exhibit in our Main Building's Blue Room along with other art by advanced art students. Wow!
