5th Graders Create Composite Painting

Tandem 5th graders, with the help of art teacher Julia Sapir, created a composite painting that will be revealed at the Mother's Day Music Festival. This large-scale painting was designed by tracing every student's body outline on the canvas - one at a time - so that the outlines overlapped. Students then used warm and summery colors to fill in all of the spaces with paint and markers. The result is pretty amazing - check out the photos ahead of the reveal.
