Upper School Artists Working to Fill Up New Kiln

Big excitement in the Upper School art space this week as a new kiln arrived to take over Ceramics room duties. The old kiln had some age on it and firings were limited to certain glazes. The new one has advanced censors and can even been controlled from afar. Teacher Amanda Nelsen shared a photo of the new kiln ready to go, as well as photos of 3D Art students working on sculpture form and tiles, and students putting the finishing touches on final independent projects with clay. We can't wait to see how the first batch comes out!
