August 30 - September 5, 2025

We started the week with a holiday, then returned to a busy week of classes, games at home and away, our first pancakes of the year, the Parent Community opening get together, school photo retakes, the first college visits, the final round of parent meetings by grade, the start of some Clubs activity, and more. Many thanks to all of the parents who have been on campus for games, meetings and pancakes!

5th graders and other Middle School classes attended a library orientation and are already proving to be avid readers. 7th graders are working on their summer reading of The Outsiders. 8th graders are doing the same with The Martian Chronicles. 9the graders are reading The Odyssey, while 10th graders are delving into Never Let Me Go and Machiavelli’s The Prince.

Last Friday afternoon, our cross country team had their second home meet ever - there were great performances by our runners and fantastic fan support of the Tandem 2-Miler. The Daily Progress is predicting great things from our team this year - check out the article here.
