Application Process

Application Process

The following is a step-by-step guide to the admissions process.
 
  • Schedule a parent tour and an admissions information session through the Admissions Office.
  • Complete the online application and submit the $50 application fee (paper form available if necessary).
  • Print/sign the transcript release form and submit it to your child's current school. If you are homeschooling, please provide a copy of the curriculum you are following as well as any standardized test results or other outside evaluations.
  • Submit two teacher recommendation forms from:
    • Your child's English teacher (applicants for grades 5-12)
    • Your child's math teacher (applicants for grades 5-12)
    • If your child is taught by the same teacher for math and English, submit a second recommendation from an additional teacher/instructor/coach of another subject/activity
  • Schedule a shadow visit for your child. Admissions testing (reading, writing, and math) will be completed on the day of the visit.
  • Schedule a parent interview with the Admissions Office (can be scheduled on the day of the student’s shadow visit).
  • The Admissions Committee will review the application when all steps are completed. Additional materials may be requested.

    Important Admissions Dates

    • Our admissions and financial aid priority deadline is February 1stAfter the priority deadline has passed, we will continue to accept admissions applications and financial aid applications as long as space and funds are available.
    • Applications completed by the priority deadline will receive decisions in early March. All applications completed after the priority deadline will receive decisions as soon as possible following the review of priority applicants.  

    Tips for Getting Started


    Applying:


    Click on the “Apply” button to begin the application process. Beginning an application requires a login that can be created at the beginning of the process. If you have completed an inquiry form, you received an email from the admissions team with your login credentials to use when applying.

    Checklist:

    Once logged into our parent portal, click on your child’s name in the upper left corner. You will be taken to the admission progress page where there is an admissions checklist showing each step of the process. Listed there are the other materials you will need in order to complete the admissions process. Check the portal frequently as the application materials and steps will be checked off as they are completed. Please know that there can be lag time for paperwork being sent from one school to another, and you can check to see if paperwork is received.
