Blue Ridge Day
Students and faculty head to the woods for a day of hiking, then return to the campus in the afternoon for s'mores and cider, followed by an open mic performance in the Community Hall. -

Tips and Advice for Student Athletes in College Admissions
Main Building - Blue RoomGain insights into how students can pursue opportunities to play sports at the college level, from DIII soccer and DI basketball to club and intramural sports if that's the best fit. Hear from a group that can speak from the student's perspective, the coach's and the high school's. Come dispel some of the mystery around athletic recruiting by learning about registering with the NCAA Clearinghouse, recruiting rules that are strictly enforced, the timelines generally followed in the recruiting process, and more! -

Alumni vs Varsity Basketball Games
Gym and Field House - Gym - G2Alumni take on Tandem's varsity basketball teams in the gym. No practices needed - alums just show up to play, with coaches and refs provided. Alumni women play our varsity girls at 5:30pm; men take on our varsity boys at 7pm. It's great fun to watch this annual rivalry - if you're not an alum, come on down and cheer on your favorite players! Contact Gordon Fields if you are thinking of playing. -
Turkey Bowl
Gym and Field House - Field House - G1All are invited to work off some Thanksgiving dinner at the John A. Davis Memorial Turkey Bowl, a longstanding Tandem tradition that's an open soccer game(s) for all ages held the day after Thanksgiving (November 29) at 11am on the pitch. Gather at the field house, divide up into teams (some reffing provided), and play for as long as you want. Parents, students, alums, visiting cousins of all ages - all are encouraged to come, play, and enjoy some Tandem community.
