Friends Council Members Talk to Middle School about 'Quaker' Things

Tandem's Friends Council is our version of a Spiritual Life Committee, the group (led by teacher Jason Farr) that manages the spiritual life on campus by organizing Meeting for Worship, writing queries, and raising awareness about Quakerism at Tandem. This week during Meeting for Worship time, a panel made up of Friends Council students members met with the Middle School to talk about what being at a Quaker school has meant to them, their role in Friends Council, how they feel about Meeting for Worship, Quaker values, and more. Middle Schoolers were able to ask a few questions as well. Many thanks to Upper Schoolers Talia P, Claire D, Emory S, Madeline M, Lucy L and Elisabeth S for sharing their wonderful thoughts and insights about what lies at the heart of the Tandem Friends community.
