Tandem Friends Students Experience Governor's School
Five Tandem Friends Upper Schoolers spent the month of July representing Tandem at the prestigious Virginia Governor's School Summer Residential Programs and Foreign Language Academies. Programs exist for the humanities, performing arts, math/science/technology, engineering, languages, medicine/health sciences, and agriculture. Students apply and compete for coveted spaces in these programs.
Rising senior James Peacock attended the Agriculture program at Virginia Tech. Rising junior Noah Tinsley attended the Latin Academy at Randolph Macon College. Rising senior Aubrey Caplin attended the French Academy at Washington & Lee University. Rising seniors Levi Schult and Craig Epstein attended the Math, Science, & Technology program at Lynchburg College.
We are eager to hear about their adventures and find out what they learned at these programs.
