7th Grade Life Science Class Studies Ribosomes

7th grade students in Anne Deane's Life Science class have been studying ribosomes, cellular particles made up of RNA and protein that serve as the site for protein synthesis in cells. They recently worked on a ribosomes simulation using color-coded beads to translate DNA code into messenger RNA, then translating that into an amino acid chain via protein synthesis.
