6th Grade Birdhouses Getting Fresh Coat of Paint

6th grade science students have been busily building bird houses as part of their bird habitat studies. This week they began painting them in bright colors. Once they have completed them, these colorful creations will be installed around the Tandem campus so that students can research the types of birds that inhabit Charlottesville and adapt the birdhouses to suit specific species.
