7th Graders Grow Lettuce to Test Soil Treatments

7th grade science students in Rachel Ghent's class worked hqrd in Tandem's garden and got their lettuce experiment all set up and planted. They are testing four different soil treatments to find out which produces the most lettuce growth. They are using some of the Black Bear compost that Tandem receives as part of our composting program.
