Middle School art teacher Julia Sapir shared photos of and an invitation to contribute to a community art project being created in the library. The project is a Zentangle badger and students and staff can choose a section to fill in Zentangle style. A Zentangle is "an easy-to-learn, relaxing art form where you draw structured, repetitive patterns called tangles to create detailed abstract designs." For this badger project, which was designed by Julia, artists are asked to use a black Sharpie only, to work neatly, and to complete only one defined section (nothing in the background) so that plenty of artists can contribute. Let's get that badger filled in - thanks, Julia!!
