Geometry Students Study Surface Area and Volume

Geometry students have been learning about surface area and volume and are putting that knowledge to work with the planet in mind. They are building models of multiple sizes of a packaged product and determining the most eco-friendly way to buy -- that is, minimizing the packaging (surface area) per unit of product (volume).
