Three Seniors Receive National Merit Scholar Commendations

During Wednesday's Upper School Morning Meeting, three seniors were recognized by Upper School Director Russell Combs for their accomplishments in the National Merit Scholarship Program. John B was recognized as National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist, one of those who placed in the top 16,000 nationally out of the 1.5 million who took the 2024 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). John continues on in the competition for a National Merit Scholarship, and is one of only nine area students (public and private school) who achieved that distinction. Will M and Owen S were recognized as National Merit Scholarship Commended Students, those who placed in the top 34,000 students nationally out of those who took the 2024 PSAT/NMSQT. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation provided Letters of Commendation for Will and Owen. Congratulations, John, Will, and Owen!
