6th Graders Create and Play Explorer Board Games

6th graders, with Social Studies teacher Sarah Donelson, completed a unit studying the explorer Ibn Battuta, who extensively explored the medieval Muslim world. For their final project, students worked in teams to design board games based on the explorations and life of Battuta, then played them in class. Their final results were clever, creative and very educational. Check out the photos of their amazing work.
