Alumni Spotlight: Recent Alum Continues with Journalism at Vassar

Tandem alum Eli Lerdau (TFS '25) took his passion for hard-hitting editorials and journalism with him to Vassar College this fall. While at Tandem, Eli served as an editor for student newspaper The Tandem Times, and was a regular contributor of editorial pieces to local paper The Daily Progress, which paper printed several of his editorials last year and even put his name in the headline for this one on Trump's actions against universities and this one on ICE activity in Charlottesville. Eli recently had this really well written piece about academic freedom and higher education with a focus on Jim Ryan's ouster at UVa published in the Vassar student paper, The Miscellany News.
