Inspirit AI at Tandem Friends School: Artificial Intelligence Intensive for 7th through 12th Graders
Inspirit AI is partnering with Tandem Friends School to offer an in-person project-based artificial intelligence program. Inspirit AI is an AI education program developed and taught by Stanford and MIT alumni and graduate students. The program will consist of ten 3-hour sessions. AI Scholars is a pre-college enrichment program that exposes curious high school students globally to AI through in-person or live online intensive classes. The program is developed and taught exclusively by Stanford, MIT and leading university alumni and graduate students specializing in AI.
Students from rising 7-12th grades will learn the fundamental concepts of AI and gain a deeper understanding of how AI is used to build ChatGPT and generative AI, build sustainable agriculture solutions, fight the COVID-19 pandemic, power self-driving cars, and more. Students will learn to program AI using Python, discuss ethics and bias within AI, and complete a group project applying AI to disciplines like environmental science, healthcare, astronomy, finance, and more!
No prior computer science experience is required to participate, and advanced cohorts are available. Separate middle and high school sections will be offered.
