  • Class of 2026 Senior Week Work and Fun

    Our Class of 2026 enjoyed a great Senior Week. They began by kicking off Senior Project and college application work at the Old Metropolitan Hall on the Downtown Mall. They met with our librarian to discuss project research. The 12th and 5th graders shared a pizza lunch, some games on the lawn and a mutual advice-giving session. 5th graders gave advice to the seniors on senior year and life after high school while seniors gave advice on life at Tandem. Click here to check out some of the advice shared. Wednesday included a yoga session led by senior Sofia S, more work on apps and projects, and a workshop on Professional Communication. On Thursday, they went to Charlottesville Meeting House for a Meeting for Worship and a Quakerism 101 session, then enjoyed a walking tour of Charlottesville Black History, followed by some fun downtime. They concluded with a Campout on the Quad, which included a campfire with s'mores, fun games, and more. They woke early for "Senior Sunrise" on Friday morning and after a lovely breakfast, concluded their productive and fun Senior Week.
